At Sincera, transparency is a core part of how we work. It’s actually built into our name. The spirit of being “sincere” — honest, clear, and without pretense — guides how we engage with clients, how we evaluate operators, and how we communicate our role in every partnership. Our clients rely on us for unbiased strategic, financial, and operational guidance, and that trust requires a clear commitment to openness in how we operate.
Because we support cultural destinations, hospitality operations, and public-serving institutions, it is essential to outline our principles of independence, objectivity, and professional integrity.
Sincera is a full-service consultancy. Our team has worked in finance, operations, food and beverage, and retail for more than 25 years. Over those decades, it is both natural and unavoidable that our professionals have built relationships with many of the major providers in managed contract foodservice and managed contract retail services.
We view this history not as a conflict, but as a strategic advantage. It provides deep operational context, industry insight, and the ability to guide cultural destinations and operators toward solutions that elevate visitor experience and strengthen earned-income performance.
Within the past five years, Sincera team members — both independently and through Sincera — have provided advisory or executive services across investment, private equity, restaurant operations, managed services, retail, financial advisory, licensing, purchasing programs, distribution, and manufacturing. These engagements, many governed by NDAs, include institutions such as SPB Hospitality, Ballard Brands, PJ’s Coffee, EUREST, Krull Investments, Rival Brothers Coffee, Ideation Hospitality, Condor Hospitality, Fortress Investment Group, Service Systems Associates (SSA), the Garces Group, Relevant Strategies & Solutions (RS&S), Marquis & Co., and others.
Sincera discloses past and present advisory engagements to ensure transparency. Any and all advisory relationships that may involve financial gain or perceived influence are listed herein. These relationships may evolve over time, and this disclosure will be updated accordingly and reviewed frequently.
These experiences inform our understanding of the marketplace, but they do not influence our recommendations, evaluations, scoring methodologies, or procurement processes. Our professional focus is always aligned with the client institution and its mission.
To maintain objectivity and uphold client trust:
• Sincera does not accept referral fees, commissions, kickbacks, or incentive payments from any operator or vendor.
• We endeavor to disclose potential conflicts of interest stemming from prior or ongoing industry relationships.
• If a conflict exists or could reasonably be perceived, we implement mitigation procedures or recuse ourselves when appropriate.
• We do not assist operators in preparing proposals for any RFP we are managing on behalf of a client institution.
Our obligation is to serve the client, and while we also help strengthen the marketplace, we do not influence individual bids. Our role is to ensure a robust competitive field while remaining fully independent of operator proposals.
Sincera’s priority in RFP development is to strengthen competition, ensure fairness, and secure the best possible partner for the client. To ensure process integrity:
• We design transparent, auditable scoring and evaluation systems.
• We do not share proprietary information between bidders.
• We do not encourage operators to revise offers based on competitor proposals.
• We improve the quality of proposals by elevating the competitive landscape, not by coaching bidders.
Our professional focus remains on creating a robust, ethical, and visitor-centered selection process.
Our priority is serving cultural destinations — museums, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, science centers, cultural attractions, and public-serving institutions. All recommendations reflect the client’s strategic goals, mission, financial sustainability, and visitor experience priorities.
Sincera treats all client information as confidential.
We do not disclose or reuse strategic, operational, financial, or organizational information without explicit permission.
We fully adhere to all NDAs and confidentiality agreements governing past and present work.
Sincera is compensated exclusively through direct contracts with our clients.
We do not receive compensation, incentives, reimbursements, or financial consideration from third-party operators or vendors associated with bids, RFP development, or contract awards.
All fees are disclosed upfront and documented contractually.
Our work reflects best practices in foodservice, retail, hospitality, and cultural-attraction operations, and is grounded in:
• Ethical business conduct
• Long-term financial stewardship
• Operational excellence
• Visitor experience improvement
• Inclusion, accessibility, and equitable service standards
We strive to strengthen both the visitor experience and the financial sustainability of every institution we serve.
Sincera uses proprietary models, benchmarking, financial forecasting tools, and AI-supported analysis to inform recommendations.
We do not sell or share client data, and all analytical tools are used exclusively in service to the client.
As laws, industry standards, and internal policies evolve, this disclosure may be updated. The most current version will always be available on our website.
